I forgot to take pictures of the room before I started tearing it apart. These pics are in the middle of me going through toys, bagging everything up for painting, and deciding what to give away. The pictures are pretty embarrassing, but they will make the finished product look that much better!
The room is purple because the original colors of her baby bedding were purple and green. When I was pregnant with her, I was obsessed with purple and green! I really wanted to update the room with brighter and fresher colors, even though I loved the purple.
We got rid of the ugly closet doors and have curtains over her closet instead, so that's what you see hanging there. I tucked them under the curtain rod so I could get to the closet better.
